John Ferguson, better known as "Jerk Bait John," has over 25 years of musky fishing experience in Vilas and Oneida counties in Wisconsin. A strong advocate of catch and release, John is a professional angler and guide, fully dedicated to exploring new methods as well as tried and proven techniques to help you land the monster muskellunge of a lifetime.

As a Professional Musky Tournament Trail Pro-Angler and a Wisconsin Musky Tournament Pro-Angler and seasoned guide, John is an expert when it comes to pursuit of the elusive muskellunge. He fishes hard and will provide you every opportunity to be over big fish and experience the true spirit and beauty of the Wisconsin Northwoods. He has been instrumental in enabling some of the major muskellunge trophies taken in the state of Wisconsin in recent years.

John is also a charter member and co-founder of The Musky Marauders fisning club founded in 1987.
